Resistance Temperature Sensors

RTDs are suited for applications where accuracy and stability are essential for proper control in applications below 1200°F (650C). Thermistors are best for applications where fast time response and high change in resistance over limited temperature range is desired. Maximum operating temperature on Watlow thermistors is 572°F (300°C).
